Restore Me Now
What or where is the key to overcoming these habits, vices, bondages, and hang-ups that beset us all? There have been many plans and programs that have been established through the years by ministers, counselors, psychologists and psychiatrists but it seems that not one resource is the sole answer. It is a combination of resources that gives the answers.
As Christians we are never to be off guard concerning the devices that Satan tries to throw at us. After becoming saved, then we must be delivered. The healing and restoration process must begin now. In order for the process to begin there first must be a determined determination that change will come and that the change will remain. Most of the struggles that Christians fight have to deal with but not limited to sexual immorality, integrity, and yes alcohol.
Restoration is a process. It will not happen over night. If you the believer first identify what the problem or addiction is and apply bible based principles to it one will find that being restored is just around the corner waiting on you.
Today tens of millions of Americans suffer from dependency problems, ranging from chemical addictions to sexual compulsivity; and additionally, over 100 million live in families with or are co dependently related to these dependent individuals. Restoration is possible. Approximately 15 million persons are actively involved in 500,000 recovery groups, such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Emotions Anonymous and Overeaters Anonymous. Sadly enough, most of these dependents have experienced some religious encounter and some even profess to be a Christian.
There is help for the believer. There is nothing wrong in admitting there is a problem in your Christian walk, what is wrong is if you do nothing about it and so many lives are affected by your lasciviousness behavior. Restoration is possible.
Let’s take the journey together. For a point of reference we will use The Twelve Steps by Alcoholics Anonymous and it will serve as a guide for restoration using the Holy Bible as our scripture reference and other resources that you will find in the Resource Section of this website.
The restoration process is up to you. The question you have to ask yourself, are you tired of living beneath what God has in stored for you? Paul say, “I can do all things through Christ that strengths me.” I am glad that I am not alone on this journey and neither are you. I am excited, are you?
